Allergy Alerting Service Dogs Empty Allergy Alerting Service Dogs

Post by Admin Sun Jun 26, 2016 1:04 pm

Did you know that there are so many different types of Medical Alert Respond Dogs? As there are many different needs these dogs are becoming more and more popular too.

The first Medical Alert dogs were the Seizure Alert Respond Service Dogs. They were first introduced in the 1980, but I am not going to talk about them here as I already did in another post.

I want to talk about Allergy Alerting Service Dogs as they are near and dear to me. I really appreciate what they can do as I too have some Allergies though not as sever as others which could be life and death situation.  Those harsh chemicals they use on the carpets can be quite bad at times for me and it seems everywhere you go the stores just got done using such chemicals.  At least my allergies aren't life threatening for me which would make me stay home and that's what many people with Peanut Allergies had to do til now!

All Medical Alert Service dogs could be the difference between a life and death situation in different ways. Allergy Alert Dogs (i.e. peanut sniffers), are taught to alert the individual within minutes before coming in contact with such type of food, even if another person may have eaten such food and then later touch a piece of furniture such as a chair or table.

Countless people end up in the emergency rooms because of Food Allergies. It's one of the most deadliest disability there are as it affects thousands if not millions of individuals especially children in the U.S.A alone.

Many times one doesn't participate in various group activities, go out to restaurants, or even play in a simple ball game. But having a Medical Alert Respond Service Dog (i.e. Allergy Alert) gives the individual / families more independence and freedom.
