Service Animal Rules

These rules and regulations pertains strictly to service animals. Although some may interlock with other laws as there are a lot of gray areas.

Disability Rights & Responsibilities

This area is for obtaining information about the American's Disability Act (ADA), Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Air Carrier Act (ACAA).

General Information

As of March 15, 2011, only DOGS are recognized as service animals under titles II and III of the ADA. In addition a separate provision about MINIATURE HORSES that have been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. THERAPY + EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS ARE NOT
